Lodestone personal/guild features feedback and requests

Hello,

Thanks to the cooking contest I had the opportunity to explore more of the features of the Lodestone that I hadn't before. I have to say that these features are really neat, and it's a shame that more EN players don't utilize it.

I was customizing my guild's area, which we can use in addition to our actual site, and noticed some things that would really help improve it.

Layout customizations:
The first thing you notice is that we have an image imbedded into recruitment section. There is are no alignment tools [centering], and it's difficult to initially understand the dimensions the image is going to be scaled to.

The site layout itself is very narrow. Many of us use very large monitors, and it would be great if the website could scale with our monitor size, or at least be able to give us the option to expand the regions of the website and have a more functional guild area. About 35% of my screen-space is unused.

Grand company section:
We can see the pictures of someone getting an award from the grand company, but we don't really know what the award was for. It would be great if hovering the mouse over the character's portrait would say "Hero of the Day", or whatever award was assigned.


Guild file upload area:
This would be preferable to having to use personal upload space for guild events and achievements. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to link outside images into the character and guild pages.


Recruitment tools:
After the launch of 2.0 it would be great to incorporate a guild recruitment feature in the game with the website, so guild masters could be aware of when someone wants to join their guild.

Access guild page from the launcher:
The launcher needs a lot of work so important information can be directly conveyed to the players, but it would also be great to access the guild's site from within the launcher itself so that players are always aware of it.


Personal avatar:
It would be nice for us to be able to choose and lock our background avatar, and in the future to also have it display the gear we're wearing without having it being Photoshopped on.

Top page request:
When looking on the top page, please have it save the blog filters from the character page, when logged in, so I only get entries that I can read, similar to how the "My site" has it.

Easy access to player's disciple of the hand capabilities; retainer listings:
It would be nice for retainer listings to be tied to the character's lodestone. I care about getting reliable goods from a player more than if they can flood the 20 cheapest entries on the item search. Doing this would be a good way for players to see what a person is selling, and for a person to keep track of his/her retainer listings without having to go to the market wards. Having the crafting abilities of a character listed, besides just the level, will help a person unfamiliar with the craft know what the character of the profile is capable of producing.

Set a post to display in the future:
This would be useful for doing a weekly feature without having to be at the computer at a certain time or day.
