I thank every new Warrior who joins this conversation. I am really happy to see all your opinions and thoughts, and I am grateful for your honesty.
I continue to read all of your thoughts and still agree with every single one of you.
I will try to sum up everything since my last post and I will do my best I can, to pick up everything you told me.
I have to mention that I will try to heat up the told a little.
As I read, you told me about lack in classes and being overgeared. But also lack in complexity and experience we made over the months and years of playing.
Let me start with the first mentioned, the classes.
You say, that the classes we have and play - gotten easier and lost their complexity over the years, got simplified and have gotten monotone to play. The challenge here was purified to a general role model, a unification to all classes from one and the same role. This is something we noticeably see in ShadowBringers. The focus on making every class fitting their role as best as it can. This is no wrong move from the gods of Eorzea, but is it needed to simplify the classes to one and the same feeling? Taking the challenge and the individuality from one class to make "three big classes" with little to no differences? Playing a class, in my point of view, makes people feel confident, they begin to feel some kind of special. This is taken from them and the challenge to learn one class best, with them. You start to feel like one of many, but in reality people always strive to be special. We do not want to be the same, we want to have our own place in this world.
That said, that I do not think that this is something the gods expected to happen, but they wanted to make every class fit best with the role they are in. I think that happened because they unified and I hope that this kind of challenge returns with the events(patch) around Eorzea. But the fear continues, that the challenge in this place could vanish, once and for all.
