Behold Now Behemoth

I've been frequently checking for this FATE for... must be close to a year, now, and I haven't seen it.

Does it still spawn or did it break in an update? When was the last time anyone can remember it spawning on Light?

It still spawns but its just like Odin only spawns randomly once a week.. it has a cool down if defeated of 7 days as well and then can spawn i believe anytime from 4hr to 24hrs after that..

An because no one really dose that fate people don't report it as up or defeated.. in my few years of playing I've only caught it once.

Once a week isn't quite right. I've seen it being shouted and relinked multiple times over the last month on Twintania. In fact, there are dedicated FATE CWLS on Light that always link all Odin/Behemoth/Ixion/Foxy Lads etc. FATES.

If I remember back when people cared to track this stuff, it was about 3-4 days for Behemoth and Odin.

I think I read it was 72 hours with a 36-hour cool down window or something like that?

I camped it for ages waiting for it to spawn before I finally got it - including an incident where I left the room for not-that-long and came back too late to a chat log of people shouting "Behemoth FATE!"...

But yeah. I'd been playing for months and had to deliberately camp it to get it. Prey Online too, not counting the time the weather cane up during my first visit to Azys Lla and I had no idea what it meant, and either my FC didn't either or I'd just given up asking about weird weather conditions at that point after Umbral Wind and Umbral Static meant nothing.

I think Behemoth is a tricky one since, doesn't it actually show up on the map, unlike Odin/Coeurl/Foxy? Maybe I'm remembering wrong from years ago when I caught it, but I thought I remembered mousing over all the FATEs on the map and doing a double-take when I realized I skimmed over Behemoth.

Since (I believe) it can be spotted on the map by anyone in the zone, would make it easy to even accidentally get called out.

Also doesn't help not getting synced down at this point. Fight's over in a snap. And I remember that from long before I ever hit 70 even.

None of those show up on the map, last I checked.
They will on your minimap, but the main one they won't show.

Spawned 2:16pm today Zodiark, tried a /tell but you weren't on unfortunately.

If you want rewards, there is a fate in Eureka Pagos that has a Behemoth that drops the Hides (not 100% sure if its a special hide or the normal one), also Retainers can bring back Behemoth hides.

BUT

both of those things are brutally slow and or annoying.

The Fate maybe has a 10% chance and you still got to wait for weather and hope theirs players in there.
The Retainer ... well it pulls from a pool of like 2000 items ...

Join an Hunt Ls and keep an eye out for it. But as many said its 72h+ and unlike odin has no weather effect that can be seen from 5 different zones of which one is a major city.
