Yeah, it's pretty powerful when stacked.

Unless I am missing something, the only debuffs we can remove are CCs via Purify. Even then, that's a 30 sec CD, where SCH and DRK healing debuffs are relatively generous. Especially now that TBN is free to use, meaning DRKs have more MP and a free Edge of Shadow if you try to retaliate.

Healers can only remove stun/sleep and some of enemy players buffs like regens/barriers

You can mitigate it with Largesse, but obviously you will have to lose one between protect and repose.

Granted, the team that won was the best in the EU LP scene by a decent margin. But it was a middle finger to virtually everyone who didn't agree that Scholar was top tier in LP.

They just abused the OP comp right now Scholar + Drk 40% healing down stacked on a target you dont need to sleep the enemy healer or stun the kill target if your on tank, making you able to use stun as a pure defensive tool wich their tank did.

Healing down is way to strong right now i can totally see them fixing it for the next patch.
I think end of Stormblood with the FRC 2018 was the most balanced this PVP has ever been , but even then it was far from perfect.

I have played maybe 3 matches of pvp since the ShB changes to it, and have kind of just given up. I don't like, don't like the Azim Steppe pvp area thing, just yuck all around. I'm not demanding any changes, I just have completely lost interest in FFXIV pvp. I have enough fun in other parts of the game. I am also of the mind that if they just completely deleted pvp/ or stopped updating it, I wouoldn't care either. That's how dead pvp is to me in this game.

`edit ---- Just 100% blah. No amount of reward luring etc going to make me interested in it either. It's just completely dead and gone for me. Like a pet I loved that is no more. I can't sit around and play with it now that it's gone, but I can look back fondly on the good times.
