    new to healing

    so Im new to healing, been playing ff14 since 1.0 I play other mmos as well WOW beacuse most of my friends play it but i never touch healing in any game its not really my style to be honest im a melee dps at heart. but I have to get a healer up to 80 to gain mentor status which is important to me because I love ff14 so I've been doing ok healing up to now using my damage spells and timing my ocd bene or tetra when tank gets low and of course regen on always. im about to hit 70 and im wondering how these confession stacks work and operate with plenary indulgence?

    Easiest way to think about Plenary Indulgence is that it makes your AoE heals do more healing for 10 seconds. The implementation is far more complicated than it needs to be

    No, it adds a 200 potency one time heal to your AoE spells for the next 10s. Only people who were hit by Indulgence will get the bonus 200 potency. Anyone not hit by Indulgence will just get the normal healing amount.

    without Indulgence
    ====
    Medica/Rapture: 300 potency one time heal
    Medica II: 200 potency one time heal + 500 potency over time
    Cure III: 550 potency one time heal

    with Indulgence
    ====
    Medica/Rapture: 500 potency one time heal
    Medica II: 400 potency one time heal + 500 potency over time
    Cure III: 750 potency one time heal

    It's not just next AoE, it is all in the next 10 seconds other than Assize. Great for the heal check in the new EX trial at end of phase 1 for example.
