This game needs way more wards!

At the moment at the european data center Twintania is the only server with available housing in Gridania. All the other servers have no available housing plots for sale.

How is this acceptable?

Also how are Zodiark and lich "preffered servers" but making character "is not available at this time", Sound to me like twintania should be a preffered server and lich and zodiark should attain "congested" status.

In fact, they should just make ALL servers with sold out plots automatically change into "congested" worlds, because if there are no available housing plots, the world is congested.
Disagree square enix? Then how about you just add more wards already?

It's because the worlds are full. There is always a waiting list to get into those servers I know that is the case for me on Spriggan as well as many other servers I have characters on. The game has lots of people playing, lots of new people, so given the world is full it restricts the character creation for those worlds. Simplly amazing because i get these queues even when people should be sleeping or at work.

I think it's not a problem with numbers of players but the number who are actually active and playing the game.

Apartments are a poor comparison. They're little more than glorified FC rooms. If we could increase the size and make them into say, a penthouse suite or a loft, then Apartments may have wound up the solution the devs hoped for. Alas, we cannot. So no one really cares about them.

I'm fairly certain the dev could make apartments better if the community would make actual post about it, but they would rather make 600 post about needing more wards and not being about to own the mansion on the hill. Apartments are instance housing, tell SE how to fix them ><

I've seen plenty of posts in several threads on how they could improve apartments, and I've made several of those posts myself. If they're not gonna overhaul the whole system, they should be adding more wards AND updating apartments to leave options to be larger and adding an outdoor space for crossbreed gardening.

That has been hinted as coming in the future with a minion farm even if not attached directly to housing.

I mean you say that but before I necro posted a thread the Housing forums had 7 complaint threads about housing plot and zero about apartment improvements.

Are you kinding? People were expecting apartments to be some kind of instancied houses with different size and we only had some kind of FC room. Some people have asked they upgrade apartments. But the reply for Y-P was : we want to keep neighborood. He closed the door to this possibility.

The housing is broken. There's unfortunatly nothing new.

Many people don't give a f*** about neighborood but they keep this system as if neighborood were the Alpha and the Omega.

The neighborood is broken since individuals can get a house, it makes ghosts towns but never mind, they prioritize wards with broken neighborood. sigh...

They could upgrade flats, offer several size, a greenhouse but no... always wards...
With a centrale aetheryte they could propose instancied housing with gardens and simulated neighborood but... we don't see anything of this kind.

I have no illusions about Ishgard.

Page 2 of this thread. You know not all people are stuck to the forum, you need to watch at least to the page 3 to be sure nobody suggested this idea. I always do in this kind of thread and I'm not the only one to do.

Good point but a lot of people do talk about upgrading apartments. If someone tried to create a new tread on apartments right now while this one is still hot there would be whole chorus of people telling them there is already an active topic on housing.

I would be all for a larger 2 story apartment with a large balcony. Personally I think we should be allowed an apartment in each housing district. Maybe just one could be the larger type.
