Want to know how much data FFXIV uses?
CTRL+ALT+DEL (before you open FFXIV or it will crash)
In task Manager go to "Performance" Tab
Then "Resource Monitor"
In the "Resource Monitor" Click the "Network" tab.
It will show you the data traffic for every application on your PC, in both (per second) and (total)
** Note, its in BITS per second. NOT Kbps **
You need some math if you want to figure out how much data you are using.
8 Bits = 1 Byte
1024 Bytes = 1 KiloByte
1024 KiloBytes = 1 MegaByte
1024 MegaBytes = 1 GigaByte

Thank you all for the reassurances! Although I know a lot of the game is already downloaded to the computer I had no idea how much new data is actually being received each time I play. Not nearly as much as I was thinking, thank goodness!
And thank you Doctor Mog on finding out how much data programs use! This will be a great help in helping figure how I can change how I browse the net and play games before I have to change internet services.

Or if he's stuck in the 90's he'll go over with a box full of floppy drives(still faster than downloading a few 100mb at 56k)
That's true lol. I drive it to him xD
