    I just fail to see the point spending time adding flying to ARR when you have virtually no reason to visit any of those zones unless you're leveling alt characters.

    Well, we have hunts, sightseeing logs, beast tribe quests and fishing windows as well as possibly new places to take screenshots. And who knows, we might be running back and forth to the Crystal Tower over and over for the foreseeable MSQ patches, especially since completing it will be mandatory as well.

    Its most likely for newer players rather than us. Since they unlock flying after beating the MSQ, 100% sure its to reduce the amount of time of the newer players having to go back and forth between places since ground speed mounts are slow as heck unless you unlock the speed.

    People like me still visit ARR, HW, and SB areas. You don't need to have an objective to revisit old areas and take in the scenery. I can't understand people who limit themselves to the ShB areas or only keep themselves in the Eulmore plaza (because people are afraid to go downstairs, apparently).
