Unable to use the touchpad on DS4 controller on Mac client

As title.
Unable to use the touchpad on DS4 controller on Mac client, both wired and Bluetooth.
Had to calibrate to use the share button instead. Is there any way to use the touchpad? in setting, the controller type is already the one with touchpad.

We apologize that you are experiencing difficulties with your controller. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

- Make sure all drivers for the controller are fully up to date.
- Uninstall and reinstall the device drivers.
- See if there is a driver/program that would allow the touchpad to be used.

I don't even know if there's a driver for the controller on Mac. FWIW, I've installed the RemotePlay from Playstation
