I have a very comparable build and have applied every single fix I could possibly find. This started happening to me after last night's maintenance and has never happened before. It seems this has been a widespread issue since the release of 5.0 and is only getting worse with more and more people. It's apparently due to a FPS/hz lock change on SE's side (why on earth a game would do that on their end is beyond me, but I'm not an expert). Unfortunately for most people, it reads the native hz on a monitor rather than a current - so if you lock your own and try to tone it down, it still doesn't work. Anyone unlucky enough to have a laptop is pretty much screwed regardless.

I've done everything short of buying a new PC build. Nothing, and I mean nothing, has resolved the issue for me. And, apparently, MANY others over this forum, Reddit, and Discord. I've seen people even get refunds as soon as ShB came out because they were never able to launch the game.

What's even stranger is the timestamp of the error messages which read 3-26 regardless of what day or time the error occurs. None of the error messages are remotely accurate.

Square Enix- I can no longer play your game. Apparently neither can many others. Please rollback this change of yours until you can properly fix it. The volume of reports of this issue that stem back to the beginning of 5.0 (and some earlier, though those changes were fixed) is massive. During a time when we're all stuck at home with nothing to do and nowhere to go, I sincerely hope you make this a priority, especially when your players are paying subscriptions.
