Game keeps crashing without an error message

When exactly did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

Do you notice any patterns to this error? Does it only occur in certain locations or while doing certain actions?

The crashes started occurring about a week before patch 5.25 was released and then slowly became more frequent after that. There are no patterns that I am aware of with the crashes currently. The crashes also seem to happen anywhere. In instanced content, overworld maps, to even cities and hub areas. No specific actions seem to trigger this either. It just seems completely random.

You may want to try some of the following if you haven't already:

-Try a a clean reinstall of your graphics card drivers to reduce the potential of conflicting configurations.

-Disable any overlays (Geforce Experience, Discord overlay, etc.) that may be present while playing the game. Also make sure to close any other programs that are running alongside the game while playing.

-Perform a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

When you reinstalled the game, did you remove the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV)? If not, try removing it, but be sure to make a backup of this just in case it doesn't resolve the issue.

Ive just tried everything listed above and am still experiencing crashing. Not sure what to do at this point. Could this be a server traffic issue? Ive never had this problem before.

They don't know what's going on or how to fix it. There have been multiple threads both here and on reddit with the same "solutions" that don't work. I have the same issue and I just pretty much hope that I don't crash while I play the game. Especially on Savage.

The only solution that works most of the time for me is to restart my PC after I crash. But it's not 100% because I still crash after doing it.

Yeah this really sucks as im trying to prog E8S too. The game is pretty much unplayable.
