I kinda wish they had the option to request for a Duel PvP anyone in the world without having to queue for PVP instance Or not just at Wolves' Den Pier. But anywhere in the world. Like in many other MMOs.
Any class/job vs any class/job.

That would get annoying real fast. I'm glad it doesn't exist

And all crafting/gathering jobs, and anyone in a sanctuary, and anyone lower leveled than you, and anyone higher leveled than you, and anyone who's talking to NPC's, anyone who is in the process of teleporting, on a mount, in combat, participating in a fate.
Nah it would easily work just like party invites. Where u have to be on a main jobs. Like u can easily be spammed with party requests or friend request already anyways...it’s just in the nature of online games. Level wouldn’t matter. Just keep it like the currents duel but just without having to be at wolve’s Den. It is pretty fun in other MMOs, and it’s not like an openworld pvp. It’s just request for duel.
We already could annoy people with triad challenge or trade box, and there is none who does that, so whats the problem? ToS already covers virtually everything so you could just report the annoying people if they spam it, the "issue" is a non issue.ESO proved that just having 'anywhere' duel pvp is a bad idea - their cities, merchant area's and tp places get spammed with duel's & duel request's. It's annoying, irritating and obtrusive. Fact is most ppl have to resort to addon's to auto-decline duel invites, as they get spammed like crazy by some ppl.
Dueling in the main cities or anywhere else would be such a cool idea, im all for it.

It could or could not be an issue, who knows. But considering people have abused and spammed features in the past (ready checking constantly even in the middle of battle making Crystal Tower a constant nightmare before they patched it out sometime in 2.x), there's also zero harm in implementing a "this must be manually enabled, and anyone with it disabled cannot be duel-requested" feature either to stop potential abuse before it even begins and save people the time to report. We already could annoy people with triad challenge or trade box, and there is none who does that, so whats the problem? That being said, I'd be of the personal opinion to keep it out of the cities, or create a dueling ring in each city. Out in the zones is fine though.

That would be even more chaotic. The city-states have peace, for the most part. It'd be pretty lore breaking to just suddenly have combat everywhere in town.
I wouldn't mind a few more square dueling circles around the world, just to give some variety of backgrounds to duels. But other than flavour it's not very substantial.

I want a DoH PvP tournament.
Want to root for goldsmiths after seeing what Godbert can do but sadly ARM would destroy the others with their superior vitality and strength stats.
That would get annoying. Add in an auto-ignore challenge feature and add high-risk stakes/rewards and it could prove entertaining. Think of all the RP opportunities!
