People need to finally learn Emanation

I love Susano, that one is a blast. Have only run it a few times but never had a problem. Plus the dude has Charisma in Spades.

Snake Lady I’ve just the one time. Died once when she did the big glowy everyone dance thing. Someone said to use the thing but I apparently did so too late, or it wasn’t charged. How does charging the action work? I never even picked up on it needing to be charged and no one mentioned that. I kept using it after that on a bubble when I saw one, but that sounds like I was doing it wrong?

For the record the first Duty Action I recall seeing is the bazooka in the Diadem, so I at least knew what buttons to press.

I am sick and tired of getting Lakshmi NM every second day for Trials roulette with 7 people that have absolutely no idea what to do in any given situation despite having multiple level 80s.

Just learn the damn fight already, folks.

In fact, I hate it. The trial itself is somewhat okay but people make it so much less enjoyable. And it does not really help that there is no minimum item level requirement for it. So you might as well see a tank with less HP than my okay-geared DPS.

You think everyone should watch guides for 3+ year old story-difficulty content? I understand being frustrated with a bad group. I would even say that anyone who buys a booster should have to complete an appropriately challenging solo instance before they were allowed into any group content. But watching a guide for a 3 year old fight with one mechanic? Thats pointless. Hell, Lakshmi isnt even the stormblood trial people dont want to see. Susano was the one that i hated getting(the level sync is lower so some classes are missing important moves, and i saw way too many groups fail to keep up in the later stages of the fight as he speeds up), and Tsuku was the hard one(fans shouldnt be that hard to dodge, and the moon thing catches a ton of people off guard).

As an aside, these forums are so contradictory. A few months ago in the Duty Finder thread, I was criticized for suggesting people watch a video for the new Eden raids. Because that’s what I did. It was brand new content at the time, so watch a video to help yourself get to know the mechanics.

The overwhelming response was “be patient, it’s new content. If it was older content, then yes, watch a video.”

Then there’s this post saying “you expect people to watch a video for 3 year old content? That’s pointless.”

FFS. Can’t win for losing.
