bright change after alt tab

im playing at 2k in game resolution full screen mode with 1080p to help with the grass/ground shimmer and flicker but everytime i alt tab out and in, the bright change for a darker tone ( witch i prefer) and then, after 10 second, reset to a brighter color and stays that way until i alt tab and same thing happens.
Would like to know why that happens and if there is a way to use those darker colors.

When i change resolutions i think that happens too, atleast sometimes.

i just read somewhere to apply a change in nvidea control panel to set the color responsability on the gpu but cant test it now.

To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have you tried to alleviate the problem? Can you provide images of what each tone/color/brightness change looks like? Also, could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
