I will mostly because I've already invested enough time into this game that it would be silly to give up on it now

Rule number 1 in project management, SUNK COST IS SUNK. that being said I understand what you saying but sometimes the smartest thing a manager can do is just let the project fail and restart. I take that same view when playing games, if there is something out there that will provide me with more fun go for that. But then agian I look at games a ssomething that is suppsoed to be fun, I don't treaet it like an investement or a mutual fund.
