Its only 15 bucks a month. I'd pay right now.
I tried Rift, it Sucks. FFXIV with no content still blows it out of the water

I most likely will not unless like you said the game is worthy of giving up hard earned cash for at that time, its far from worth it now.

I will. I played open beta, bought the game and began playing release version thinking that it was going to be p2p, then f2p came as a bonus (or whatever you may call it). So yes, I will.

English is not my mother language. I'm trying to do my best, so please don't be rude...

In DCUO's defense, it launched maybe a month and a half ago.

Agreed with Picoman to some extent.

And yes, I would have paid even in October. If you come to my home (not you specifically, you'll see FFXIV with one character and two additional retainers is in my budget until January 2012.) You may even find another crazier budget paying subscription for the Buddy Pass and that's just my right hand playing, but that only calculated to March 2011, heheh.

I won't be unless they fix the biggest caveat I have with this game. They need to work on the UI and stop alienating mouse and keyboard players with poor controls.

    I Like you sig picture!

I will continue playing. I like the game now, and they don't even intend on making us pay until the game is to a certain standard. So.... everyone should continue playing once we have to pay!

I don't even play it while it's free. Charging me for it isn't gonna make the game any more fun.

    Maybe in a year.

I will, and look forward to the changes, unless it gets too far away from the whole "sand-box-be-all-you-can-be" base they have now. I have a few of the amusement park type games already with pigeon-holed classes, skill trees, coloring inside the lines. I was hoping to play something new and a bit unusual, and while I don't feel it's quite 'there' yet with respect to content and functionality, conceptually - it's definitely new and unusual.

It's like old Legos vs new Legos. They gave us a fresh twist on an 'old' Lego set game, where you just get a bunch of bricks of different shapes and sizes and you use your imagination to build houses and cars or whatever. Most of the newer generation of games (past 7 years) tend to be like 'new' Legos, where you get a pre-built little person, and a fully assembled car, and an instruction book with:

Step 1: Put person in car.
    Congratulations, you are done!

    I kinda like old Legos

As the game is now, no. I'd like XIV to be the game to keep my attention, but it just doesn't. I don't play that much because I get bored fairly quick when I do play, but since it is currently free and I did buy 2 collectors editions, I will use whatever free time they give me to play as much as I can and offer my opinion as to what I feel the game needs to keep me interested, and eventually, paying.
