90002 errors ruining PotD solo runs

I have been trying to get the 1-200 solo title for ages. Ages. I am frequently plagued by 902 errors whenever I play Palace of the Dead, and there is nothing more soul crushing than getting these during a high run that's going well, such as what happened this morning. I was on floor 174 with WAR solo, and got a 902 error, and just like that, 10 hours of work gone. This is one of the few things I can do solo while waiting for friends to log on, and it's extremely demoralizing that this happens and I lose all of my hard work by no fault of my own. At the very least, why can't we log back in where we left off? Why are we booted? Why does it count as a party wipe? I have tried everything to fix this issue, but nothing works. I have 1g internet direct connection, and have never had issues with anything else. This achievement is hard enough to obtain with the difficulty and luck based factors of the dungeon, and this issue makes it essentially nigh impossible. Why does this happen?

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums,

We apologize for the delay in our response, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    - The game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

-Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game

    - Check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

-Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Good morning and thank you for the reply.

Unfortunately, we are only able to to provide limited trouble shooting to assist with a connection problem. The troubleshooting we can provide will be for your home network (your PC/PS4 and your router). Since the issue stems from outside of your home network, this troubleshooting is unlikely to alleviate the issue.

In this scenario, I'd suggest contacting your ISP regarding the issue and making a report with them.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
