I think that would fall victim to the "menu pops up, person "auto-click "ok"" to close it, not being arsed to question the reasoning behind the vote dismiss, and the (victim, depending) is subsequently kicked" that already goes on in the game.

Is this really happening this frequent to you? I mean sure people normally do leave when its Castrum and not Prae but I just don't think this scenario plays out this way often enough to warrant this feature. I don't know, I just see unneeded drama with that feature.

It shouldn't be happening at all.
The players holding up groups in a petty fit of spite over not getting their preferred dungeon of the 2 are the ones that have already started the drama. They could just immediately leave and eat the penalty instead of deliberately wasting the time of the rest of the group.
Better yet, they could simply choose not to queue for MSQ roulette and do other things with their time instead. It gets tiresome listening to complaints from people the moment the group forms when they know what to expect before they even queue.
Having a right click report option does nothing by itself. It takes SE deciding that the player was doing something wrong for any action to be taken. And like with the report for RMT option, SE can always penalize the reporting player if they feel the report option was being abused to cause trouble. The only ones who would need to fear it are those who are being disruptive to a group and holding it hostage because they didn't get what they wanted.
I've only seen this happen once. Usually someone will question why the kick and it ends up failing.
On the other hand, I've seen a lot of legitmate vote kicks on AFK players still sitting back at the entrance fail because people aren't paying attention or a cutscene gets triggered so they can't vote before the timer expires. The group has to stop when they can to reintiate the vote kick and get it to pass.

I get all that and agree that ideally it shouldn't be happening at all, but for those two particular dungeons you don't necessarily need all 8 members to finish it. If they get kicked, they get kicked. If not, that's fine too. Most of the groups I've been in, people are more than happy to kick the ones who have done nothing the entire run. A much more productive solution would be not worrying about what other players are doing and focus on yourself. Don't like what they have to say in chat? Switch your tab to event. I have to do that often when people go on and on and on about their stupid Cid/Gaius fanfics. What do you consider often enough?

I would love an option to report while in.
My friends talk about it all the time, about people not pulling their weight in 8-24 man content, but the same ones that complain about others are the same ones that do stuff like cook dinner in MSQ roulette and afk through most of it.
Does it make you an arse to report your own friends? lmao

Drag them through the place and kick them before the final boss then.
Their time is wasted and when it's actually time to get rewarded they'll end up with nothing.
I never kick people who ask for it, they can leave of their own volition. They have an option that locks them out for 30 minutes while I have an option to remove an actual problem player that locks me out for 4 hours.
A report function isn't going to do much that you can't do outside the instance. Rarely does a GM respond in the time it takes for a dungeon to finish. Maybe if you're lucky perhaps?

I actually would second this. MSQ Roulette today doesn't really need 2 tanks, and in most battles you can quite well survive without healers as well thanks to all the overgearing (and if you suddenly have a summoner you then even have a somewhat of a healer). The only annoying thing would be the need to do lesser pulls, but that's it. The party doesn't deserve such a messed run, but at least you will punish those who's trying to force kick vote with semi-penalty - the full run of Castrum Meridianum would probably take pretty much about 30 minutes with lesser pulls.Drag them through the place and kick them before the final boss then.

As for the option to write a report in duty - I'm not sure if there's much sence into having this, though it shouldn't hurt to activate the menu in duties. Despite GM answering fast about harassment, it's unlikely that they will do it in less than 30 minutes, and typical Castrum Meridianum now, if everyone contribute, is about 23-25. Remember the names and write one right after leaving the instance.

I dont think SMNs would be ok with being shoe-horned into healing.

Which is why I say that party doesn't really deserve such a run. But it's still an option, even if not really an ejoyable one.
