Veteran Rewards Issue - Contacted GM in Game, Unresolved

I've been playing since ARR launch, with 1,110 days subbed on my accounts. I received all of the veteran rewards on my character on Crystal - Diabolos, named Funaho Shirogane, prior to patch 4.1.

According to the Lodestone article (which I was sent more than once by the GMs), "these changes will have no effect on players who have already met the requirements to obtain the items listed above, as well as those no longer available as veteran rewards after patch 4.1. Newly created characters on the same account will continue to receive any items for which they were eligible prior to the update."

I recently created a new toon on Aether - Jenova, named Rhesh'a Zhwan. I received all of the veteran rewards, with the exception of the Wild Rose barding and the Firion minion. I had previously received these items on my toon on Diabolos. When communicating with the GMs, I was repeatedly told that these items could be obtained from trading acheivement certificates in Gridania, but the issue is that I already earned the items.

Can the two items be restored to my account for the new character, or am I out of luck on this issue?

i don't know how long you've been having this issue, but sometimes items can get "stuck" in the mail if you have more than 20~ pieces. it can take upwards to a week (though usually only a few days) for them to get processed through. if this is the same service account, and its a recent issue, i suggest waiting a few days to see if it comes through.

It happens sometimes.

I made a character on a different data center to look at a friends house and it took a few hours for my carbuncle mount to come through, with everything else working fine.

Theres wonky code on anything set to be awarded account-wide, it feeds into why they seem to hate making anything mogstation account-wide anymore.

Cleared out the first 20 letters first day in game. Next log in, had the next six. It's been over a week and a half now, and nothing. The GMs refuse to listen to what their own published material states.

GM support is very limited right now. Your issue is going to be very low down the priority list since it doesn't impact your ability to play the game not to mention you do have another option for obtaining those items if you plan to use them (not like there's much other than the original Veteran rewards to buy with achievement certificates).

If you want to pursue the issue, it would probably be better to wait until support returns to normal then resubmit your ticket, including a link to the original published Veteran Rewards list.

Yeah. I think nearly all those rewards went into the NPC in Gridania as items purchasable with the points you earn from in game achievements... Of which I have a ton of them because I had every veteran reward before they changed the system leaving almost nothing to actually spend them on.

When you check your mail in the game there is a button where you can request that rewards be sent. I know that when I start a new character they will have around 26 mails waiting for them. After clearing out the first 20 I press that button, and then the remaining 6 will show up in the mailbox within a few minutes.
Have you tried that request button?

buy it from jonas in old gridania i think with those achievement points.
