    Would you guys like more 24 man content dungones?

    almost like BA.

    woudl you okay with havving 24+ man content with higher diffculty?

    I think thast the ONLY ONLY thing lacking in FFXIV, bigger scale raids. I know some of you think its a pain but literally, thats the only thing loacking and I feel it woudl be easy for ffxiv to balance.

    if they dont want to keep making BAs then just make an alliance raid but scale it and make it extreme dificulty. what will reward be? make it a BiS or near BiS(maybe adding 1 extra matrerial slot) accessory for the end drop.



    I would be so so happy if they made something like this or even BA but Dfable

    16-man, maybe, but designing around "did JimtheDim remember to move left this time or do we wipe?" doesn't seem a great fit for 24 people.

    I'm not entirely certain that party/raid size is critical to the challenge/fun of the content. Like, BA doesn't really feel like it needs 48+ players, it's simply tuned to that. (evidently there was even recently a run with as few as 16(?) players that managed a clear, which sounds way more exciting) More players just seems like it means more potential mistakes. And while there is a certain bit of exhilaration from recovering from those mistakes, I don't really think it's key to the fun of the content.

    I propose instead that a more crucial component is the combat rez restriction. I think this adds an extra layer of tension you just can't get anywhere else in the game. Knowing you have to learn the fight and be competent, otherwise you're so much floor decor. BA's Spirit of the Remembered also gives an RNG chance at that previous recovering from a mistake (and hopefully learning from it) exhilaration.

    I think the Rathalos (EX?) fights also had a taste of this challenge/fun by restricting combat rez.

    (taking this comment in the context of BA) I personally kinda find that BA is actually rather forgiving in this respect, for the most part. For all the mid-bosses, I'd say most mistakes typically only punish the individual player. It's only when you get to Ozma that you're really faced with a fight where one player can indeed wipe the entire raid. It does have its challenges, but, maybe that coordination is also an important piece for fun challenging content. But, naturally not something you'd want to have to expect from a roulette.

    also when I mean 24 man dungeon im ONLY talking about difficulty being higher than current allaince raid sewtting, if its extreme thast good. if its inbetween extreme and current raid thast fine too

    I was referring to any any higher (i.e. Savage) difficulty raiding, which tend to have a mixture of DPS checks being tightened by individual punishments and others that can wipe the whole raid. The latter category does not work well with twice the number of players, and must therefore be removed or heavily adjusted.

    I like the current 24 man content, its the only time I really enjoy healing lately. So yeah, I would like to see more.

    They have said that they're interested in doing more BA like content. So I personally wouldn't mind it in all honesty. I do think that they'd have to be very careful with how they implement it however given their current desires to link some of the current Alliance raids to the main story/relic stories in a fashion. Having harder raids to enjoy that are then nerfed so the most casual among the player base can successfully complete them is a headache to even consider. So if they are implemented it would likely have to be as part of secondary content, or in the same fashion as the Savages or Extremes - attached to existing story or secondary content like Eureka but there as an 'additional' difficulty rather than something standalone.

    See I would like more things like BA, but that was very specific to the environment mechanics it was contained within. And I liked that, it did it well.
    Just asking for more 24 man dungeons is like asking for more than 3 'raid' tier dungeons per expansion which.... eh, I mean I'd take them but I find myself running them less and less. They're a great feature to be used with guest developers and such or as homage to other SE games, as they seem to be, so just keeping them like that is also pretty acceptable.

    But yes give me BA2 or something. Let's keep that Eureka train going.
