Change in Server Switch Rules

I did the wait time for support is honestly not that bad compared to most MMO's which is great. So the issue was I purchased a server transfer to go somewhere more populated the problem was the latency on that server was really bad for me so when I asked if I could go back I only waited about an hour or for a reply but the reply was no we don't do that you would have to purchase another one from the mogstation after 3 days. I replied with even if you just purchased it and the latency on that server is bad for you cause I can't be faulted for that because switching servers is a chance. I never received a reply so I assume he just gave me the answer and never revised the ticket after that which fine I get it I work in a call center its annoying at times, however even if so it seemed almost as if I just annoyed him or her I am not sure I didn't want to be rude either so I was just like well I guess I have to put the game down, but the sad part is I can't put this game down I spilled so much time into it but it sucks to feel like they don't care about you but that's every major gaming company now at days.

I have been playing games since the day I was born so I guess that is why it hit me so personally, but even at that to be unable to play the game for 3 days because you are lagging so bad they couldn't even help me with that which kind of sucks, but I suppose that is a part of life I just really wish I felt more valued or like got a credit or something to purchase another one for free I think it was just handled poorly but maybe that is just the rules they have to follow which there honestly should be some lee way for that rule, because when you switch servers you really are taking a chance but either way it just felt like they didn't care and I have been such a devoted gamer for so long that I guess it hurt me badly. Games are like my escape I know its probably stupid to say something like that on something like this but when you deal with someone who makes you feel you are unwanted in this game it makes you feel like why am I even continuing to play, but basically all I am saying is it could of been just a bit more genuine I get it though I am a tax agent during COVID dealing with stimulus checks and angry customers but I have to remind myself to keep calm and just answer things with compassion, and unfortunately that was not done here so I guess I am a little upset and was hoping for a better resolution but I guess its my fault at the end but again switching servers is a chance that things could go wrong and I did a lot of research before switching and they still went wrong.

Would the latency have been noticeable if you made a character on that server first; you know to test it out?

I know I am not exactly "liked" in the community because I voiced my opinions of the fashion not being up to par with other MMOs which I think still remains to be true, but they have actually done a much better job with releasing fashionable things as of late so I figured posting something here would bring more light to this subject, however alternatively it might get more people to just dislike me I got banned from forums for that post prior about fashion about two years ago and I have grown a lot since that time. Yet still even with the amount I have grown I still do see an issue with the fashion and the art of the relic gear and weapons they just feel they aren't there yet, but this is about server switch rules I just wanted to give a little back story the moral of the story is I think there should be just a bit more lee way when switching servers especially when you pay for it and the server contains too much lag for you. As for my previous post that I got banned for stating my opinions on fashion I don't think I should have been banned for stating an opinion on fashion in the game yes I ended up arguing with people, but that is because they took an opinion I made on the fashion and made it more then what it had to be.


Back then I was really honestly young and catty I get that but there was still some truth to what I was saying but in regards to world transfers I understand there is a warning as well, however it still is a chance it could go wrong even with a warning I apologize for my behavior when I was younger but what I said still remains true till this day. Certain things should be revised and correct I understand I am one player out of millions but also when I say something its meant just to be taken as some feedback. As for my prior post with the fashion I could of definitely spoken better and handled that better but to be honest people take things you say and make it way more then it has to be especially in this community I have noticed. Either way I am apologizing now for my prior behavior because I have grown from that moment. Moving forward though I would appreciate if some changes were made to the rules of World Transfers is all. I will just leave at that because I really just wanted this to be seen so people could see where I am coming from but other then that, that is really it so thanks for taking the time to read this if you did. Also to edit this a little I did some research that Ragnarok had a good English community in it and was for end game raids and factions I am level 80 item level 470+ healer so I can do all the end game, but I switched from Adamantoise to there which I heard latency does not defer greatly between those two servers however I guess that is also my fault because I took information I got off of a forum and reddit once I went in there was a lot of latency for me like not a normal amount it was like it would play fine then have a random lag spike which isn't good for raiding so I will just purchase another server transfer back I guess that is the only way to really resolve the issue after the three days is up.

I mean, unless you switched datacenter, there should be no latency increase. Maybe you need to wait and see if it was just a network issue since, as you say, everyone is stuck home

I couldn't really it was a populated server you can't really create a character in until it reaches a certain time and I am a tax agent currently so I work 6 days of the week 10 hours a day so I guess more or less I was exhausted as well and couldn't stay up till 3 am to try as well.

I mean, unless you switched datacenter, there should be no latency increase. Maybe you need to wait and see if it was just a network issue since, as you say, everyone is stuck home

Any server on the same DC would have been fine, though - seeing how all NA-servers are at the same place, all EU-servers are at the same place and all JP-server are at the same place, even a server in the same general region would have been a possible test subject.
