My first thought was that it was going to be an Ironworks thing for the next part of the Werlyt/Weapon storyline, but then I remembered that we were getting that blue Ironworks mecha instead. So probably a Dwarven machine.

Or the new eureka is the Bozjan front where the fighting is taking place, would make sense to have tanks.
The picture shows the tank strangling a Hobgoblin, and shooting the arm off an Ariman.

The Dwarven tank is an FF4 reference to King Giott's tank regiment that fought against the Tower of Babil and the Giant of Babil![]()
The new dungeon will be utter crap, as all dungeons are tied to our trusts (which I don’t mind) but severely limits them in the process to be glorified mindless fodder. The Anyder one was unsatisfactory but they tried with the last trash heave having summons and targets players to ram, and the intro being impressive but was very lacking in execution.
i bet one instance we could drive the tank and wreck havoc with it lol

Dungeon Hero's Gauntlet has some great implications for a farewell to Norvandt as a last hoorah through the zones.
Seems we are getting more echo flashbacks to the past as an unsundered perhaps finally a more difinitive clue to what our role was.
Sapphire Weapon looks completely different to FF7's version, more of an updated version of the boss from Fractal HM that used warring Triad data.

That's because it's original appearence in FFVII was just for all of five or so minutes, just to ram Junon, burn a hole in the roof of Shinra's gas chamber allowing Tifa to escape, and then have it's head promptly blown off by the Sister Ray cannon. So they have a lot more scope with how they design it this time around.
As for Hero's Gauntlet, the sky seems to have the starshower raining down so it wonder if a certain Ascian-in-Ardbert's-meatsuit is pulling his fake-Starshower thing again to try and push Norvrandt further towards the Calamity by stirring up further chaos and mayhem. But we'll find out either way.

That is most likely not the Sapphire Weapon. It has Ironworks colours, so probably something Cid builds to combat the Weapons.
I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
