The scene that got me the most was the ending right before we fight Emet oh my god did that ever get me pumped up like watching him flick his wrist and dispatch our party with no effort and the fact of how well written he is going from calm and collected making you think oh snap he might be right to a raving mad man yelling and screaming and you going yeah this guy has to go!!! Alot of my friends are WOW players I didnt touch WOW until legion to play with them but all they talk about is you dont know how great wrath of the litch king was blah blah blah but this right here was MY wrath of the litch king I remember first going through it and when Ardbert show up you see his axe and then the music cut in I was literally screaming at my computer LETS GO!!!!!! (ps It was 4am and I got my ass kicked the next day for being so loud) then hearing Ardbert talk through us and us kind of finding out we are a but a small shard of an Ascian who tried to help and be a hero! then i screamed again when the exarch was like let expanse contrat EONS BECOME INSTANT warriors from beyond the rift heed my call! and summons the other remaining warriors of light LOST IT. but what sticks with me the most is that last moment before the fight that trade mark line

I kid everyone not at 4am I let loose a war cry so loud my mom broke the door to my room down thinking I was having a heart attack that moment that LINE is the reason I play and love video games when it strikes you down to your core and you feel that shit!!

Having finishing 5.0 a few days ago. I'd say it'd be the stretch form 79-80. From the battle with Valthrey to the possibility that for one, the hero might actually not survive the next few days to the revelations, to outright exploring the bottom of the ocean to find Emet-Selch as the WoL is on their last legs.

Prolly the most epic moments in the game so far, and the most meaningful part of the xpac being the culmination of everything thus far

I think the introductory zones in ShB and everything after the Innocence fight stood out the most to me, though the expansion as a whole was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster.

The initial Kholusia and Amh Araeng stories painted a grisly picture of life on First in the wake of the Flood and the horrific menace of the sin eaters. I caught onto the whole Eulmore conspiracy rather quickly, and thus felt particularly awful about that quest where you help that ailing songtress since I knew she was basically being resigned to a fate worst then death. It really gave me a strong mental push to soldier on and purge the light from the land; much moreso then the prior expansions did.

The scenario of your impending doom and carrying everyone's hopes on your shoulders made me even more determined to see things through to the end; so much that I didn't anything but the MSQ from that point forwards. Then there was the whole Amaurot lore bomb revealing the deeper reasons behind the motives of Ascians, making them go from seeming like generic doomsday antagonists to a bunch of sad, desperate individuals who simply long for the perfect world they lost and the return of those who gave their lives to ensure its survival.
