Missing "weathered" variants of Gerolt's Masterworks weapons.

I was looking to write a bug report on an assortment of items that appear to be missing since - I assume - Patch 5.3, but I'm trying my luck here first. Perhaps someone knows something that I don't.

The items in question are "weathered" weapons (Weathered Burtgang, Weathered Conqueror, Weathered Glanzfaust, etc.) previously rewarded from quests leading up to Heavensward that could be upgraded with Poetics. However, it seems that only the upgraded versions are now rewarded from level 110 weapon coffers, while the weathered variants are nowhere to be found. While that would not make much of a difference in theory, in this case it does, seeing as the weathered versions do not come with a glow, while the upgraded ones do.

I believe this to be an oversight and could not find any information on how to acquire these weathered weapons now, neither on the Lodestone, GarlandTools or Gamer Escape. Drake in the North Shroud still offers the option to trade in the weathered pieces that no longer seem to exist, and I would like to see them returned to the game.
An associate of mine suggested that these items might possibly have been added to Quick Exploration rewards, but I could find no information on this either.

Gear that required the exchange of a base item and upgrade material can now be obtained directly in exchange for Allied Seals or Centurio Seals.
The base items and upgrade materials for such gear can no longer be obtained from shops or dungeons.

That much I was aware of, yes. As said, I believe that was an oversight, considering that you can now only get the glowing variants. For tomestone items it makes sense, since those don't change when upgraded.Would've kept the old weapons otherwise!

I tried to file a bug report about this a while back, but it got rejected because it's not technically a bug even though it's essentially something they broke by changing the game.

Removing the weathered versions of weapons was intentional overall, yes. But I think this is an unintended side effect.

The vast majority of weapons are identical between their base and upgraded versions except that the upgraded version is dyeable, so glamour-wise nothing was lost when the base versions became unavailable.

However, these are a different story. The base versions don't glow and the upgraded versions do, so there is a separate value to the base versions that now can't be purchased.

The people tasked with simplifying the weapon upgrade system probably didn't think (or even know) about the glamour value of one old set of second-rate tome weapons, but... well, it's glamour. We care.

I'd like to see the weathered versions available again.
