    Launcher Error

Whenever I boot up my launcher in browser 2 (Selected in \my games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn)

    I get this error.

By swapping it to browser 1, I can still log in, but it gives me errors. I deleted my game and got this when I started a fresh reinstall, but I was at least able to login even though half the launcher didn't seem to be working properly. Any help would be appreciated.

The launcher is just a fancy Microsoft Edge wrapped login page.
I would suggest clearing the browsing data on Edge from its settings. Even if you don't use it as a web browser yourself, it'll include things that do such as the FFXIV launcher in its cache.

It is a frontend, but it's using Internet Explorer, not Edge.

But the advice they gave was good and you just need to clear the temporary Internet Files in IE, not Edge.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

As the previous poster mentioned, the game will use the Internet Explorer web browser to connect to the internet. This error is usually cause by conflicts with the web browser. Try adjusting some of the following settings.

Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options".
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
