Horrible Framerate, cant figure out why

    Hello,
Just got the game to play with some friends. My system normally plays games completely fine, but FFXIV for some reason I cant get above 15 fps with all settings at minimum.

Ive checked as much as I can and tried to lower everything and make sure nothing else is running on my pc, but 15 fps is as high as I can get(I get 60 in wow for example).

Are there some things I coulid check? Any help would be very appreciated.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

According to the system information you provided, it doesn't look like it meets the minimum requirements for the game.

You mentioned lowering the settings, have you tried lowering the screen resolution?

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

Is this a laptop? I am thinking I have the same graphics processor in my "gaming" laptop. It runs many games just fine, but when I used it on vacation once with FFXIV I got 15 FPS at the lowest settings.

I think the game isn't designed to run on hardware like that.

Hi! thanks both of you for getting back to me.
Its a desktop, about a year old. Never top of the line, but it runs LOTS of ther games with no problems, so I didnt check min requirements. Ive actually never had a problem running any game before. I just turn settings down a bit and Im good to go. I'll try turning down resolution. WIll that make the game teeny on my screen?

edit: run as admin fixed the new problem. Now its back to just fps.

    Thanks again for your help.
