    PS4 Error (NP-36116-7)

    Worked fine earlier this morning. When trying to start the game it connects to the PlayStation network. Game starts to initialize. Then gets Error (NP-36116-7). System says shutdown application.

    No where is this code listed that I can find on these forums or PSN.

    Solutions tried....

    Reset Router
    Multiple Resets of game and system
    Safe mode boot and rebuild datebase

    Nothing has helped at this time.

    What exactly is this error?

    Same issue

    Having the same issue, even after all recommended solutions, can login on windows so not sure what to do here.....

    I was just about to make a post about this. I am having the same issue with my PS4 Pro. I get the same error code, NP-36116-7.

    Have also tried resetting the router, disconnecting all cables, re-setting up the internet connection through the PS4 settings and have tried restoring my licenses through Account Management but I also get an error there as well.

    Worked fine last night when I played.

    I have also had this issue today, well my brother and i. I have a ps4 pro whereas my brother has the standard ps4. I tried the solutions listed and eventually it just kinda fixed itself. But we have been trying for 2 hours to get his working but nothing has. So I'm thinking it depends on the system you have? I dont know what else to do.

    Did you fix both your PS4 pro and your brothers PS4 so that they can both launch XIV?

    The error seems to have resolved itself. Not sure why. Would be nice to have an idea of what these errors mean. Giving codes with no explanation is frustrating.
