PS4 Account Creation Issue

So i'm trying to setup a new account for my wife on my PS4 so she can play. I accidentally chose the option at the beginning for "I already possess a square enix account". Now Its locked in her PSN name on the log in screen but there's no actual account tied to it. Since it doesn't actually tie to an account i cant very well reset anything either. Im the the process of re-installing the game but I fear it won't make a difference.

How is this not a technical issue, my game is literally un-usable right now!

I would put a ticket into the support center directly and not the forums. I think they probably moved it because they cannot help you there.

should be able to google ffxiv customer support and it will bring you to the site. I am not sure if I can post links or I would post it directly. They have options to select account trouble on there and a description. I am sure there is a number you can call as well... although not sure if that is working with the stay at home stuff

Yea the main number had a message saying it was closed. I submitted a ticket also at customer support but im worried it wont help either since it asks for account info that technically doesnt exist for my wifes account. Ive ben trying to google the problem too since i figure i cant possibly be the first person to do this but nothing has come up.
