[request] Armour glamour for healers and more in leg slot

Me and a friend have been trying to come up with new glamours this morning and having trawled through 2 websites and the marketboard we eventually turned up a grand total of 4 chest pieces, 5 boots and worryingly, not a leg armour between us that actually looked like well...armour for our WHM and SCH respectively.

Proto ultima armour, legacy mail, deepshadow mail (though that one was more robe like than anything) and rathalos mail were also the same size of mail in that it covered the groin and shoulders heavily with pauldrons and skirt armour, but left the arms exposed.

Trying to find leg armour was impossible, most were some variation of skirt+trousers, or just trousers.
Boots for the most part on healers are either middle thigh length, shoes or knee high with some of the replica armour from other roles.
The end result was nearly all armour glamour for a healer resulted in a gap, usually on the thighs or the middle of the arms.

I have seen this opinion banded about a fair bit in game and on the forums, but I don't recall seeing a discussion dedicated to it.
So please devs, let us have some more armour for our casters and healers. Tanks and Melee get to wear robes, why can't we have armour?

example of leg armour- it has ring mail and plate built onto the thighs. Plenty of sollerets and such to combine with for glamouring

The chest armour pieces all have skirts on them though, so combined with thigh-length sollerets you can barely see the leg armour anyway.

The lack of proper sleeves on the legacy armour is the most annoying thing for me. Even with full-length gloves/gauntlets in the hand slot, there's an awkward gap.

I would suggest looking into some of the generic, "All Job", gear.

The Kojin set immediately comes to mind as it's basically just a plate armor set..albeit with a turtle shell on the back. The legs aren't terribly useful there, but they might be in line with what you're looking for.

There are also several sets that were event exclusive (But some also available on MogStation):
-Legacy Warrior Attire (Looks kinda sorta like the original FF1 "Fighter")
-The War Knight's Attire (Not really sure what the legs look like honestly, but it's just a recolored variant of what tanks/dragoons get in the Heavansward expansion from dungeons)
-The Amatsu Togi set (Samurai-ish, from FFXI crossover; the legs look like samurai "skirt" with spats)

I have rocked an armored healer look for a while now

    Some Options

Head: Cobalt Mesail (dyeable), Field Commander's Helm (Not dyeable), Imitation Mistbeard's Mask
    Body: Legacy Warrior's Mail
Hands: Bonewicca Soother's Gauntlets, Augmented Lost Allagen Gloves of healing (dyeable)
Feet: Aurum Regis Soillerets of healing (dyeable, no gold in the knees) or Dawnstar Soillerets (dyeable have good in the knees)

All of those first options Looks something like this:

But yeah. Legs / pants are the hardest thing for an armored based healer to deal with. I've just given up on that.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

FFXI had this pc, Holy Breastplate. Would be cool to have something like this.

I think the ShB PvP armor might have kind of an armored look for healers
Not on to check right now but I know the chest piece has some armor looking plate underneath of the cloth covering on it

Not sure if this will be helpful for you but, as someone who eschews robes for my healers, here's a few of my healer glams that look somewhat "armored":

The pants in the second outfit (twinsilk slops of healing) appear like chainmail due to the metallic silver dye but there may be other pants that get the same effect from the dye so try previewing a few others with the dye just in case!

The replica sky pirate set specifically the one used to be for fending can be semi armored but full armored gear non robe that is equippable by healers is scarce if haven't done old events or pvp ranked, Alexander creator set is a non robe more heavy armored.

I've used a nearly identical healer glamour for a while as well.

another alternative for arms is the heavensward augmented hailstorm piece, dyed metallic silver.
And the pants I use are actually Survival Halfslops. When dyed metallic silver, they appear like chainmail.
