Quest "The Boutique Always Wins" has disappeared in-game

Hey, I am trying to obtain this quest so I can unlock white scrip custom deliveries with Kai-Shirr in Eulmore however this quest isn't availavble for me.

I completed the previous quest "Go West, Craftsman" on 10th April and teleported to Eulmore to pick up the quest "The Boutique Always Wins".

The NPC Moven had a quest marker so I spoke with her, but I didn't get any dialogue to pick up a quest and the quest marker then disappeared. Nothing was added to my journal and the quest hasn't been completed. Due to this glitch I'm unable to progress further with this questline.

Can anyone help please?

I believe you also have to complete the story quests added in 5.1 to unlock this.

Yes, this. I couldn't find it either until I realized that you have to go a bit beyond just completing Shadowbringers to unlock it.

Okay thanks a lot guys. When I teleported to Eulomore the NPC did have a quest but it disappeared so I thought it had glitched out. Guess I need to use the official Lodestone rather than one of the wiki pages as it doesn't say about doing some of patch 5.1 stuff. I'll get that all sorted now then - thank you.

That "quest" is a tad misleading. Literally youre just talking to her to unlock turning in collectables. Theres no "quest" to it. If you can interact with the collectable appraiser standing near her, that "quest" is done. And as it isnt actually a quest, it doesnt seem to show up as completed in your journal. As for unlocking Kai Shirr, he has a bit of story involvement in 5.1 and when it finishes he has the idea that leads into his being a custom deliveries person. He literally tells you to come talk to him after youre done with something. Thats the point where he becomes available.

For most (perhaps all?) crafters, the reason "A Boutique Always Wins" doesn't show up ala Mowen now, at "Resplendent" time, is because we've already done it. It was done by crafters at level 70 as part of the unlocking of other Crystarium resources, such as summoning bell, Market Board, and assorted vendors including the Scrip Exchange vendor standing beside Eirikur in Crystalline Mean. If you can interact with scrip vendors game-wide (vis-à-vis level 70 yellow scrips mats) because of that earlier quest work, you have this qualification to begin Resplendent work. The key is this, check your favorite scrip exchange vendor, see if they will sell you "Resplendent 'class' Material A," for all 8 DoH classes. If it isn't there, NOW go back and research your quest history, with attention to main sequence associated with first exposure to Crystarium. As Frizze indicates, this quest does NOT appear in your journal when completed... a wee bit of trickiness that can keep us going in circles for hours. It did, me!

Lol, for me, the fun in Resplendent has been in finding out how to do it. Otherwise, as many folks are noting frequently on various forums, the gear is underwhelming. I don't think I'll be doing it any time soon. Perhaps S.E. will wake up and generate an explanation for this series, or at least do something, like convert it to all DoH offhands... NOW we're in the ballpark. Even if nothing else was done than to attach the glowie effect to our DoH workstations, that might be enough.

I was losing my mind, why didn't I think to just check the vendor for the mats, been running around Eulmore for ages now.
