This is incorrect. He said it was updates to the battle and class system that spans throughout two months. That's what he meant by two months worth of battle patches. He literally meant they would be released a little at a time for two months. Learn to read.In several interviews with community sites, he mentioned that the "big patch"(which I will call the "battle patch" until more info is provided), will be 2 patches worth of size, but won't be released for 2 months. This was said back at the beginning of March/late February I believe. Until then, "mid-sized" patches like we've seen thus far will probably be the norm, with more quests/UI improvements/whatever else is to be added and the like.
Not trying to be a downer, just don't want everyone to get their hopes up to then lose their shit when expectations aren't met. I'm secretly hoping the same thing you are.
If anything we'll get 1.16a which will most likely only fix the one glitched quest we got in the last update.

Read towards the middle. True enough he SORT of contradicts what he originally said in the answer to the next question, and maybe your interpretation is more accurate, but as always I advocate a position of cautious optimism.
