    Are there any armor pieces that look similar to the Storm Lieutenant's Coat?

    I want to use the Storm Lieutenant's Coat, but my usual teammates are all part of the Order of the Twin Adder. Even if I switch to Maelstrom, get the coat, and switch back I apparently won't be able to use it anymore as I won't be a part of the Maelstrom.
    Is there any similar (doesn't need to be an exact copy) looking gear that doesn't require me to be a part of the Maelstrom?

    Nope, but Grand Company doesnt have any effect on gameplay, so it doesnt matter at all which one you are part of.

    They took out the grand company requirement from PVP awhile back because certain grand companies had all the decent players, causing most PVP matches to be one sided. Everyone now is set to freelancer.

    The Sky Pirate striking/scouting jackets are somewhat similar, and available as all-class replica gear.
