Housing and FC link needs to change

    Dear Devs,
Something needs to change about the current setup between FCs and FC housing. I know far too many people who are stuck, alone, in old FCs because if they leave or try to join a new one they lose their house. They try to recruit but people come and go all the time and there is little they can do about it. Some ideas:

-Make FCs merge-able. Flat out combine them into 1
-Make it so you can dissolve an FC and not lose the house.
-Make FC alliances (FC retain their individuality but can communicate, and work together.)

These are what I've come up with. I know you have a lot on your plates already, please do what you can to remedy this. Thank you.

Except it's not their house. The house belongs to the FC. Sounds like in most cases they had nothing to do with obtaining the house for the FC in the first place. They simply inherited the FC along with the house the FC had already purchased when the other members quit playing. If they don't want to be in the FC, they aren't entitled to keep the house. They need to stop clinging to something that does not belong to them.

FC mergers are easy. Members of one FC quit then join the other FC, transferring FC assets with them. They also almost never work out because different FCs have different cultures so there's generally a lot of friction generated when you dump 2 sets of people used to different things in the same group.

FC houses do not belong to individual players. When a FC is dissolved, the FC house should be lost. Changing things so the house would go to a single player would cause drama in the case of FCs that had more than one remaining member when dissolved. It would also increase the flipping abuse, especially when new wards are opened but new purchases are limited to FCs. Flippers would set up their shell FCs, buy the house then sell the FC to the highest bidder who would then dissolve the FC to keep the house.

There's nothing from stopping FCs from forming alliances right now. Linkshells, fellowships and outside apps like Discord are great for communication and coordinating shared events.
