I really miss the old Selene abilities. I used to run everything with her out, knowing full well it was inefficient because I had more fun that way. I got to use Emergency Tactics and deployment more and felt more like a healer with a fairy instead of a dps with a healer.

I was mad when they deleted her and copied Eos over ontop of her skin too. It was such a sloppy, careless change...really, those in charge of Healers have let us down tremendously.

I'd love nothing more than to have my unique fairies back, along with all the DPS abilities they took away. I wouldn't count on it though, this expac has shown me SE doesn't give 2 s**** about SCH or healers in general. I doubt they'll ever be anything more than "WHM but with some more oGCDs", because that's apparently impossible to balance.

Honestly, if art of war were added to what we has in SB, I'd like it. Id say it was a good addition, because spamming a dot never felt right. But yeah, it outright replacing all of that upset me greatly.

I personally would like them to fix the faerie bugs first.

They did in Stormblood, ghosting didnt happen like 99% of the time, then they unfixed it in SHB.

Going to shake my head at this one. Fairy skills not firing on-demand has been an issue forever, and only made worse in ShB. I would also sooner take back Caress before I would Wind.

At the end of SB I remember fairy being really consistent with heals. At worst you waited for her to finish an embrace, other than that it was instant.

Yeah at the end of SB everything was pretty streamlined. They had made it so the fairy would cancel her embrace to allow her to do whatever you asked her to. There -might- have been some slight gcd wait but I can't remember really dealing with any issues. It was the first time sch had a reactive fairy.
With ShB they made embrace instant so now the gcd is constantly rolling and we need to wait on the gcd before casts go off. But the issue among issues here is that we still get a ton of ghosting. a full 2 s delay on consolation, whispering dawn goes on CD but isn't casted if you back to back consolation + whispering dawn. Any of the abilities go on cooldown if you transform/dissipate your fairy (without being casted). It's SUPER clunky.
