having trouble crafting 2nd tier mats for skysteel tools

so I was going for the blacksmith and for the first part crafting the oddly specific rivets was easy enough, no real trouble there but then I move onto the oddly specific fittings and I just can't get the HQ % high enough. i'm burning from mats from multiple failed attempts and I need to craft 30 of these things, all my gear is 470 or 430 with materia attached. I can't help but think there's something wrong with my rotation even though it's worked fine for stuff before, is there any way to reliably craft HQ mats for the second tier?

I just use the same rotation i use for the level 80 Skybuilders items that i got from discord :/ I'm using the white scrip gear tho

well what was that rotation? maybe you're doing a better whan than me cos what i'm doing ain't cutting it.
everything I find on the internet is just out of date info from before the crafting system update.
So my current rotation is: reflect, waste not II, then precise touch if I get a proc and standard touch if a don't got a proc. if waste not II runs out i'll use durability mend of waste not, depending on my durablity or CP remaining.
This seems to work with most with most crafts but with these tier 2 mats I run out of GP before I can get my quality up and progress bar filled, is there something wrong with my rotation?

I just did the 2nd tier mats today and used the usual:
Reflect, Manipulation, Veneration, Waste not II, Groundwork, Groundwork, Innovation, Prep touch x3, maybe Byregot's blessing if necessary, then basic synthesis to finish. Maybe try using some Blood Boullibaise hq to help you along

thanks I can get it up to 85% HQ with that rotation, not perfect but better than what I was doing.

Crafting rotations are heavily dependent on your stats. What works for other players may not work for you. If you're melding Craftsmanship where I've melded CP, my rotation would fail for you because I abuse all that lovely CP so I can be lazy.

Can you share your Craftsmanship, Control and CP without food and syrup buffs? A rotation that works for your gear could be found if we had that information.
