I can understand the lfp... but shout stupid conversations? Sure a shout out once in a while is funny or okay... but like a 10 min long shout conversation?Like it or not /shout is a chat channel. Expecting people to not chat in it is well...silly.
Basically...you don't want people to /sh for LFP, don't want them to have conversations...what exactly should /sh be used for?
People should still use the party search features...but /sh for PUGs is still going to be pretty common for a while I think. If for no other reason than you never know who is going to decide to help you out, even if they weren't necessarily looking to do anything.
PS: This isn't really directed at you personally...seems like everyone I know is saying the exact same thing...I just don't agree lol
You know what I miss?
Seeing Mel Gibson shout in town

lol Xak, important /sh? /sh parties suck imo, they never work out. In my experience people leave /sh parties at the drop of a hat. In pickup parties, people have no loyalty to the other party members, so if folks don't get a dungeon clear or whatever on the first run they bounce. But I guess I'm just being jaded/cynical.
send me a /t dude. I heard something last night that we have to fix for ya!
Turn shouts off. I do that every time someone's having fun I dont' want to read about (remember, just because it's stupid to you doesn't make it stupid in absolute terms. Other people do have feelings.)
Personally I find them random fun! The server is very lively!
So... Yeah
Going on a limb here but if it is about Darkhold and batraal it won't work. You guys never beat it with me before.... just call me a negative Nancy
Really? That must suck. We should fix this feelings thing. Wonder if we can go to the doctor for a vaccine for that, and is it contagious? I just want a few party type shouts and be able to check my crafting progress. *sadface*
