    Aurum Vale boss question

It seems like the slugs pop once the Miser's Mistress reaches the pool to recover HP. My question is, does killing the Giltraps before she gets there prevent her from recovering HP and spawning the slugs? What about killing them before she begins to run away?

The Giltraps will dissapear soon as you do enough damage to Miser(which will prevent HP Regen), War tank is really effective in this part.. killing the Giltraps will not stop slugs from popping, they will continue to do so with each posistion movement.

Its best to figure out who has slug hate ASAP. Have said person go to where the blm is and he/she should sleep them. After that everyone back to work on the morborl.

To deal with the Giltraps have one blm Dark Seal > Resonance > Sleepga on the Miser's Mistress when it reaches the pool.
For the four slugs we usually split them when they pop between the tank and the blm since they doesn't pop on the same spot.

The tank deals with two while the blm sleep the two others, then the blm comes back to sleep the last ones.
Either the AoE will take care of the closest ones or you'll have to sleep them off the white mages.

The Giltraps will de-spawn once you do 1k dmg. to Mistress in the pool, once they de-spawn you can move her out. Alternatively, you could kill the Giltraps before she moves so that as soon as she gets to the pool you can pull her out.

She will continuously regen as long as she sits in the pool, regardless of whether or not her adds die. Also, killing the Traps will not affect how she spawns the Slugs.
