Dusting off my WHM need help!

I do agree that Rapture and/or assize should be used over medica, but I do have a reason for recommending it over Medica II in certain situations. In some of my previous raid experience I had situations where the party would take a major hit, followed by another before Medica II could top them off enough, and mechanics meant they could not stack for Cure III. I was expected to keep assize on cooldown when possible to help with damage and MP, and this was before Afflatus. So, rather than write Medica off entirely, I maintain it's useful if you need cures immediately, folks are spread out, and you're out of lilies. An unfortunate circumstance to be sure, but if one tackles harder content especially in PFs it's something one may see often.

I'd always tag mobs with Dia while the tank pulls tbh. If your tank isn't hitting them at all, they're going to run into big issues regardless but if it keeps happening you can make the decision to hold off. Mana regen really shouldn't be an issue for a WhM making proper use of Lucid/Thin Air either.
