Game closes itself after selecting character

Basically, ever since patch 5.2 released my game went to hell.

The game would constantly close itself when transitioning into a cut-scene of the main scenario quest. I reinstalled the game, and it fixed the problem. I did a couple more MSQ and the game closed itself again, and now I can't log in anymore because the game keeps closing itself after selecting the character.

I repeat, I never had any problems prior to this 5.2 patch, and now suddenly I can't play anymore...

What can I do seriously?

When exactly did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

What have you tried so far in order to try and alleviate this issue?

Additionally, can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

This started to happen after patching to 5.2, at the release day!
I've reinstalled 2 times and it worked, but later crashed again on different points of the game, to the point where the game crashed when trying to log in with any character

If it is only happening with this one character, you may want to try deleting the locally-saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.
