    [dev1026] Path Companion...

    Question SE...would it be possible to be able to summon our Path Companion to fight/level alongside us while we solo...???

    I think that would be an awesome idea. Its like having an npc linkpearl from ffxi.

    i'd like that. give them a whole path companion story set of quests similar to the adventuring fellow. level them etc

    I would enjoy a path companion. Sometimes I just don't want to form a full party and I'd rather form up with 1 or 2 other people. When they are busy, it would be nice to have an NPC beside me.

    Yea they really drpped the ball on the companion stuff. Only appear in main quests. Not sure I would call that a companion rather a main quest npc. Hopefully they implement a proper companion system for 2.0

    This would be nice, I did rather enjoy duo'ing w/ my npc in XI.
    If they even just offered leves that featured or companion, kind of like GC leves but w/ your companion only, and only soloish. Of course in any case they would have to iron out the AI some kind of way, having to heal my CNJ companion cause all it does is nukes does not make me a happy DRG lol
