I miss the amount of content we'd get from each patch in arr, hw was pretty good on this to, but sb and shb felt like we got a lot less content each patch.

Cross Class Skills & I may be a small minority but cross class requirements. Gave me actual incentive to level other jobs and want to learn them as opposed to now.

Um, I don't think there's anything about ARR that I miss, for I feel that the game has only improved.
Back then I did enjoy the game, but not as much as I enjoy it today. I was a bit frustrated at the lack of cute glamours and hairstyles, and I dreamed with ever getting any sort of camera mode to take screens. I also remember that the first housing was for FCs only, so the only people capable of enjoying it were a few selected FC leaders; that was frustrating and made me uninterested in housing.
Nowadays I have all those things I wanted during ARR times, so I'm way happier and more hooked now than I was back then!

I think the ideas for the game have improved, but the implementation of a lot of them has not. It's also significantly sad that we get less dungeons, and more boring dungeon designs from what's actually inside of the dungeons. Give me another problematic Pharos Sirius. Give me dungeon bosses with mechanics like the sandworm in Copperbell HM. Give us more than three bosses per dungeon while you're at it. And make dungeon bosses last longer too.
It'd also be nice to see more four man trials like the primals were in the MSQ back in ARR.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
