    add open world/ dungeons/ leashing and dungeons/ teleports

    Reason for this tread:
    A MMO without open world adventure is a XBOX game you play at home with 3 other players.......
    It's like playing a first person shooter with you're friend at home instead of playing a first person shooter with multiple players online. I want multiple players not just 7 other players I know... I also love 8 player dungeons because then I can do them with random players. I also love Open world because it creates adventures outside the cities >.>... everyday I log in I only see players in cities players near dungeons and players near crystals-



    Open world Dungeons w/ good aspect:

    we need Open world dungeons that doesn't have 50 monster's in the same spot to make it difficult... it should be one or three monster that we pass that makes it difficult not 50 monster's that link- this is easy nd could be difficult but FAKE difficulty- I don't see that as challenging, I see that as a dumb way to make it challenging, It's like pvp and you vs a link shell- that's not difficulty that's overwhelming. It's very easy to do the open world dungeons or open world Notorious Monster, but the fact that se put's 1000 monsters and calls that difficult is kinda ridiculous. It should be a few monster and difficult to fight each individual monsters with individual aspect of difficulty, not the same type of diffculty through out every monsters.


    Open World Notorious Monster:

    We need more open world notorious monsters that is actually difficult to kill as a party (Hint: Add alliance / remove outside attack on Special NM that are claimed / Remove 5 minute repop / add 1 hour to 1 week repop depending on notorious monster / add Higher drop rate / add Usefull drops that will make players actually want to camp the notorious monster...)
    Literally you can bring a full party of whitemage and one blackmage-
    Holy x2 recover mp = 14000 damage or more instantly and a blackmage finishes it... or I guess we can do them the old style 1 whm 1 tank 2 dps...
    On top of that- the res pawn is way to quick- I would rather have a random pop one day and have a higher drop rate then a Gimpy drop rate with 10000 pop a day... This will overwhelm me and pretty sure overwhelm lots of other players trying to kill the notorious monster everyday none stop for hours...(This get's borring) This is the reason why no one actually camps any notorious monster. You see almost no one in the open world ... what's a MMO with no one in the open world... what is a mmo without players running around killing monster in the open world.

    8 man party dungeon Aspect:

    Remove Leashing monsters from dungeons- depop and repop after death is better then leashing although I don't like that idea.
    remove Portal that depops all monster from room's and previous room-
    (remove easy mode/ lazy mode spot for mage (this is a brainless fight)
    remove timmer from dungeons)
    Make it more difficult fight vs boss higher drop rate- I'd rather have items drop off boss then chest opening chest to be honest.
    remove timer for re-enter and let me enter the dungeon instantly as I choose or make it one day fight only- this get's borring fast because we do it over and over and over everyday and have to wait 15 minute between fights. I don't mind that we can do it everyday all day.. but the 15 minute is ridiculous.
    Add Special drops for Speed run ONLY-
    Add Timmer going up not down- not time requirement please-


    Open world leashing Aspect:

    Remove open world leashing- this create an adventurous world
    add Open world leashing for long distance run such as from one zone to another zone
    Add recast on CHOCOBO or goobue-
    Allow me to call chocobo or goodbue when players have Hate-
    reduce cool down instantly when inside cities- allow chocobo goobue in cities

    Teleport Aspect:

    Allow players to be Teleported only if they have walked there before and requirement of RANK needed depending on Camps- I have many mules because It allows me to teleport myself all day... I don't mind the anima but it's ridiculous I can do that all day.
    remove Anima- Add Whitemage Teleports- and Blackmage Warp was awesome on XI.
    Allow self teleports w/ company seals?? or pay a fine of 5k gil per camp maybe?

    Traveling Aspect:
    Give us sneak and invisible spells for mage.
    Example: It annoys me to walk to moogle when I know i'll get hit for 9999 or remove the treants and make monster's attack you for 500 and none leash-able unless changing zone or make the treants lower rank >.>....
    This would create open world Adventure aspect...


    There is so much more but for now it's all I will say- As for 2.0 if everything is about just CLOSED WORLD dungeons easy access- fake difficulty- instant Teleport everywhere leashing 24/7 repop notorious monster 24/7 Ridiculous drop rates on easy mode/lazy mode. I'm bound to quit ;_;...

    OH ONE MORE THING.... STOP Gimping the last update...
    It's trash and totally a waist of your time se. You've made dark hold pretty good and yet you destroyed it the next update. It was unique until you started making every dungeons the same... it get's boring and annoying.

    I think you should go back and play FFXI

    On a serious note through:

    Teleportation and Anima in their current form are perfect, they should not be restriced to one class, that system is archaic.

    We have open world dungeons/areas and will have another one come next patch.

    I agree with more difficult NM's, I don't with 1 week spawn timers. The claiming system should not be changed for any NM.

    oh don't get me wrong the Notorious monster that responds every 5 minute at low rank are ok- If they aren't even useful pass rank 35 and the notorious monster that spawns at night is awesome- or those who spawn in weather time- but seriously they need to add notorious monster for every style of players not for only weak players-
    I consider myself a none endgame and none hardcore player, But I do love the challenge of Claiming vs elite players. I can't stand slow learning players or none challenging players such as yourself, but without them and without the elite players? this is not a true MMO- MMO are for multiple players a world full of random player's not just you and your own Notorious monster.
    If SE want's everyone to have everything with every jobs at 50 with ever piece of gear- They might as well GIVE THEM ALL TO US AT THE BEGINNING OF OUR Journey. That's basically what they are doing.
    The reason why the population of this MMO is so low- Is because without every type of players such as yourself, me, and the elites the world of MMO will decrease slowly.
    The reason why every Paid mmo doesn't last long anymore compared to the old school mmo is because- They all made one mistake after another-
    (GIVE PLAYERS EVERYTHING in VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME AT A NOOB level of Difficulty)
    Just like every fighting games that comes out... You don't even have to do right down left punch anymore all you do is press A and it does a special power...
    there's 2 buttons and 1 joy stick- one punch one special power and 1 move around- every WII fighting game that's been comming out failed because of that. (EASY MODE/LAZY MODE)

    I do understand the New generation of MMO player's are lazy and mostly want easy mode-
    it does suck yes because players will tend to quit faster- Friends of those players will quit afterward because mmo are useless without friends- quiting players will create more players to quit- hence an mmo without a population sucks.
    You need sucky players such as yourself?? you hate competition (because you probably can't out claim players?) You hate traveling and want easy access to every location?? (because you want easy mode I assume??? You don't want to work for anything and want everything given to you????) The current open world dungeon??? My argument is that every update they come up with doesn't attract players to be doing them everyday or every other week. A good mmo has players doing every notorious monster everyday every dungeons everyday, but guess what? most players aren't even interested in it- Why?? because they do it everyday, this get's boring and lame- The only player's who get's excited from these gimpy dungeons and open world notorious are the player's that can't even enter the battle because of lack of skill. I'm totally fine with gimpy dungeon gimpy notorious nm gimpy difficulty and gimpy Fake difficulty.
    What i'am really asking is
    ADD things for the elite players to do-
    sucky players good players and elite players to make a mmo last a long time.
    Not just Sucky players
    Sucky players- Loves sucky games easy mode and quick access
    Good players- (Average players- Loves sucky games easy mode, quick access, difficulty level hard, competition, hard mode, adventures, Long distance run,)
    Elite players- love competition, long distance, hard mode, real difficulty, hard to get, long period of time.

    What i'am asking se to do is???
    To add something for every aspect of players a MMO community should have- Not just something sucky players will have- True good players and elite players will be able to play sucky level of game but do you think they will play this game?? no-

    Without every aspect of game- This SUCKY level ranked game will not last pass after 2.0 because???
    MMO are made up of all type of players not just sucky players who thinks easy mode like yourself

    It pains me to say this as XI is/was until abyssea a great game, but really making this into a XI clone would be as bad as it already being so close to a WoW clone. Some change is necessary, yes, and I compare things to XI often, but rarely do I ask for specific things back from it.
    Moving on now:
    Open world dungeons like the strongholds you mean?

    Open world NMs that are worth more than just the achievement, your absolutely right 5min respawn is obscene, 20 ppl attacking 1 NM is stupid, and 0.0001% drop rates make no sense. On the other hand 4~7 day respawn trying to get that 1 helm ... fk it popped while I was at work, well there goes a week of waiting lets start anew. Don't bring that here, keep it 1~8 hrs let everyone have a fair shot at one pop each day. Besides mr.argus wasn't written to claim things that spawned every 8 hrs, it was for go figure Argus with his 1 in 20 chance lottery off an NM w/ a 24hr respawn. That kind of shit ruined NM camping for those of use that can't/don't/won't sit here 24/7 for an NM.

    Dungeon mobs really do need to be more challenging, maybe lvl=highest_plyr_lvl + 10~15, make us work for it.
    Scale mages to have damage output that makes some sense, a BLM hitting a mob 5 levels higher for 800>1400>2100 as a 47 fighting lvl52 mobs, come on, that's all of 6 seconds time to cast them. NVM WHM and BLM alike being able to drop massive groups of mobs in a single cast.

    IMO if you want to speed run by all means do so, but don't reward it w/ speed run only drops, maybe something more to the effect of: Boss drops 12 chests - (time_to_clear/5) after 1 hr you'd only get 1 chest, but if you clear in 20 mins you'd get 8. If you don't wanna farm rely on chests, if you wanna farm farm.

    Despawning + "leashing" makes speed runs possible, if you have to snk/invis to get past things or fight everything speed goes out the window. I'm not a fan of speed runs anyway, I prefer going in working for what I get not racing, and full clears(all mobs/NMs killed) of a zone to "I ran past it faster than you" crap. Give us relic farming lol

    "Leashing", don't remove it completely, it's not an entirely bad thing. Extend the ranges significantly open world, and more so in dungeons. It's sensible that so long as I'm on Chocoback and don't get one-shotted I can get past anything and it'll turn away. But on foot making it 12 steps and that raptor turning away is a joke. I'm not a fan of dying but there is a such thing as too easy to get by.

    Teleports on a 3/day refilled every JP(before the hate mail: I choose JP because it is and will continue to be a JP game, GMT works equally well) midnight, storing up to a max of 9, the anima system is flawed as you so effectively pointed out.

    There are certainly some mobs that just don't belong where they are, or area/dungeon entrances in horrible places.

    every notorious monster style are good- they really should put mostly for Elite players- and 40% for noob players or Relax style player-

    Just because nubs will most likely not get any of the nub content quickly while elite players will-
    They need to keep all community intact- hence they need to add something that will be complicated for elite players to achieve. they will actually keep customer interested for a longer period of time then they do now.
