Reason for this tread:
A MMO without open world adventure is a XBOX game you play at home with 3 other players.......
It's like playing a first person shooter with you're friend at home instead of playing a first person shooter with multiple players online. I want multiple players not just 7 other players I know... I also love 8 player dungeons because then I can do them with random players. I also love Open world because it creates adventures outside the cities >.>... everyday I log in I only see players in cities players near dungeons and players near crystals-
Open world Dungeons w/ good aspect:
we need Open world dungeons that doesn't have 50 monster's in the same spot to make it difficult... it should be one or three monster that we pass that makes it difficult not 50 monster's that link- this is easy nd could be difficult but FAKE difficulty- I don't see that as challenging, I see that as a dumb way to make it challenging, It's like pvp and you vs a link shell- that's not difficulty that's overwhelming. It's very easy to do the open world dungeons or open world Notorious Monster, but the fact that se put's 1000 monsters and calls that difficult is kinda ridiculous. It should be a few monster and difficult to fight each individual monsters with individual aspect of difficulty, not the same type of diffculty through out every monsters.
Open World Notorious Monster:
We need more open world notorious monsters that is actually difficult to kill as a party (Hint: Add alliance / remove outside attack on Special NM that are claimed / Remove 5 minute repop / add 1 hour to 1 week repop depending on notorious monster / add Higher drop rate / add Usefull drops that will make players actually want to camp the notorious monster...)
Literally you can bring a full party of whitemage and one blackmage-
Holy x2 recover mp = 14000 damage or more instantly and a blackmage finishes it... or I guess we can do them the old style 1 whm 1 tank 2 dps...
On top of that- the res pawn is way to quick- I would rather have a random pop one day and have a higher drop rate then a Gimpy drop rate with 10000 pop a day... This will overwhelm me and pretty sure overwhelm lots of other players trying to kill the notorious monster everyday none stop for hours...(This get's borring) This is the reason why no one actually camps any notorious monster. You see almost no one in the open world ... what's a MMO with no one in the open world... what is a mmo without players running around killing monster in the open world.
8 man party dungeon Aspect:
Remove Leashing monsters from dungeons- depop and repop after death is better then leashing although I don't like that idea.
remove Portal that depops all monster from room's and previous room-
(remove easy mode/ lazy mode spot for mage (this is a brainless fight)
remove timmer from dungeons)
Make it more difficult fight vs boss higher drop rate- I'd rather have items drop off boss then chest opening chest to be honest.
remove timer for re-enter and let me enter the dungeon instantly as I choose or make it one day fight only- this get's borring fast because we do it over and over and over everyday and have to wait 15 minute between fights. I don't mind that we can do it everyday all day.. but the 15 minute is ridiculous.
Add Special drops for Speed run ONLY-
Add Timmer going up not down- not time requirement please-
Open world leashing Aspect:
Remove open world leashing- this create an adventurous world
add Open world leashing for long distance run such as from one zone to another zone
Add recast on CHOCOBO or goobue-
Allow me to call chocobo or goodbue when players have Hate-
reduce cool down instantly when inside cities- allow chocobo goobue in cities
Teleport Aspect:
Allow players to be Teleported only if they have walked there before and requirement of RANK needed depending on Camps- I have many mules because It allows me to teleport myself all day... I don't mind the anima but it's ridiculous I can do that all day.
remove Anima- Add Whitemage Teleports- and Blackmage Warp was awesome on XI.
Allow self teleports w/ company seals?? or pay a fine of 5k gil per camp maybe?
Traveling Aspect:
Give us sneak and invisible spells for mage.
Example: It annoys me to walk to moogle when I know i'll get hit for 9999 or remove the treants and make monster's attack you for 500 and none leash-able unless changing zone or make the treants lower rank >.>....
This would create open world Adventure aspect...
There is so much more but for now it's all I will say- As for 2.0 if everything is about just CLOSED WORLD dungeons easy access- fake difficulty- instant Teleport everywhere leashing 24/7 repop notorious monster 24/7 Ridiculous drop rates on easy mode/lazy mode. I'm bound to quit ;_;...
OH ONE MORE THING.... STOP Gimping the last update...
It's trash and totally a waist of your time se. You've made dark hold pretty good and yet you destroyed it the next update. It was unique until you started making every dungeons the same... it get's boring and annoying.
