Please add an ability to right click to report players/bots with a menu of offenses

The difficulty in reporting players in this game is ridiculous and needs to be updated.

I saw a line of botters, all with scrambled extra long names in New Gridania, clearly being leveled up one by one at the same npcs, following the same path, and there was no way to right click on them to report them. They were also appearing and disappearing.

I just wanted to be able to click on them to report them as they came up. After asking for advice on how to report them, I was told there was no other way than manually reporting them with a typed up, time-consuming report under Contact Us ingame.

Why don't you take a page out of other MMO's books and allow us to right click report players, with a menu to select the offense. This report should give you the timestamp and location details as well.

I don't have time to try and screenshot more than 10 disappearing/re-appearing bots and sit down and parse through all of them to try and get their names just right in a manual report. The experience of not being able to report these bots and having to watch them get away with the mass-leveling was extremely disheartening to me as a rather new player.

it's really because you're not supposed to be the one reporting them. sure you can if you want, but's really just a waste of your time. They have the special task force to deal with this. you have better things to do with your time.

As a stop gap until they do decide to ease the reporting process, as soon as you spot one of the RMT Farmer bots in any zone, target one just long enough to spot their current job level.
Then pull up Player Search and filter to +/-1 of the job level you saw (as in if the character was L29, search L28 through L30), select the zone (if it's in a City State choose the city name, if out in the field choose the region name), and perform the Search.
From there you will get a snap shot list of all player in that area within the job level range.
It's then easy to either screen grab or type in the names. This makes it much easier than trying to click through the character names when the bots are all piled up on top of each other or exploit/hacking to drop below the map.
Take note to look at each of the players Search Details and add their server name if they happen to be Cross World characters (which I have seen a lot recently)

EDIT: Turns out SE made a change to Player Search, removing the ability to display character names from cross world servers, which the RMT botters are exploiting. They make characters on server X and then cross world them to server Y to bot. The result is the Player Search method above doesn't display them.

more like a 'not up to the' task force, they don't do jack squat handling botting, the only ones actually doing work are the GM's who handle harassment.

it's also because in jpn, i believe it's legal for the rtm's to be in game, but not in NA, among other countries. sqenix could at least confine em to those servers it's allowed on, and remove em from those that it's not.
