Besides, if Alexander did come back in some way, it would kinda defeat the point of it calculating all possible scenarios and determining that the best course of action was to essentially permanently shut down to exist in a single moment of time or time loop.

If I remember correctly (it's been a couple of years), Alexander can't see the WoL's future. But every possible timeline where it intervenes directly leads to disaster due to Alexander's power draining a horrible amount of aether from the world around it; the specific example given was that Alexander could've beaten Bahamut, but the power required would lead to an even worse fate than the Seventh Calamity. That's why Alexander tests us, via the fight with Alexander Prime, to see if we're worthy of protecting the world.

If they ever do more egi glamours, I'm hoping for a Demi-Alexander to replace Bahamut.

Storywise, Alexander set the bar, and it has not been huddled yet.

I also believe canonically speaking, Alex is the only primal that hasn't had its arse handed to them by the Wol. In a jest blog I wrote, I stated Ol Alex shut down coz he knew it was going to happen anyway ;p
