I bought the CE but I didn't realize a security token came with it for this purpose.
I'll look into it asap. But there is no way in hell I am buying a digital device for 10 dollars when I can just reset my password for free...
This goes ontop of your password and prevents the issue you're having. It's mostly an anti-hack measure.
The point of the token is to add a level of security that can't be broken over the internet, because its in your hands.
If you have spyware on your PC changing the password will lead to the same problem as said spyware can send the new password to the same person, but because the security token is generated in real time the data sent won't be valid.
I would suggest getting a token if you don't have one already, as others said it should be in the CE box, I just hope for your sake they didn't sell all your items and take your money.
I've been using my token since FF11 and its still working.
IF SE does this just cause you got another IP then they prove once again how to make something the wrong way.
Seeing a changing IP as an unusual Thing seems stupid. Where I am it's normaly that your IP changes. You actually Need to pay additional fees if you like to have a static adress. And most ISPs don't even seell this Service to non Business customers.
I have logged in from a friends house before and not had an issue.IF SE does this just cause you got another IP then they prove once again how to make something the wrong way.

They only block when its a different country I believe.
Dynamic IP address aren't that different from one another, they display the country and region of the IP.

Actually, if your iP is 75.xx then you suddenly log in from 151.x which is usually a completely different country for example, how is that not seen as suspicious? Especially if the log time was within only minutes of each other? This is because of the whole RMT hacking situation, which lead them to blocking China and some Korean IPs for a good period.IF SE does this just cause you got another IP then they prove once again how to make something the wrong way.

So it's not a simple IP change, it's multiple IPs which usually means multiple IPs. The IP from your ISP is still within a certain range and it wouldn't lock you out, only if your ISP's dynamic IPs are so wide that it triggers as being from a different location.
Well I am in Paris France, and the reason this happened I suppose is because I attempted to login from a different computer than the one I normally do. It just seems a little drastic.
Im sure someone said in LS chat once that if you have a security token they treat the log in process differently and you can log in from foreign countries.
