    Continuous 90002 & 90006 errors on PS4

    Good afternoon,

Since yesterday I have been getting a continuous stream of 90006 & 90002 disconnects. Usually these occur about once every 2 hours, but as of this morning I cant play for more than 5-10 minutes without getting booted.

I have scoured the internet for a fix for this and nothing works. Port forwarding, clearing cache, router reboot/restarting. Nothing works.

My character is on Primal - Exodus.

    Please advise.

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

Where are you experiencing the connection issue? Additionally are you connected directly to the router or are you using WiFi?

I primarily get disconnected when changing from zone to zone via teleport or entering a dungeon via Duty log. Lately (today) I get disconnected doing anything. Questing, crafting, even idling.

    I'm using a wired connection.

Thanks for the help BTW. I just started this game and I'm loving it.

    ~Update~
Now I'm getting 5006 errors connecting to the data center. I'm at a loss here.

While the 5006 lobby errors from yesterday have subsided more or less, I am on my second day of these 90006/2 disconnects. Yesterday I even reinstalled the application thinking it was a poor installation that was triggering these issues. To make matters worse, these disconnects will often boot me from the PS4 network and I have to close the application & run an internet test to reconnect to the network. This is the only game web-based game on my system that does this.

Can you please provide me with any information on what I can do to resolve this annoying problem. Solid troubleshooting tips in regards to this issue are nigh nonexistent on the internet as far as PS4 goes.

Any assistance you can provide on this problem is greatly appreciated.

    Please advise.

Thank you for the reply The_Gipper.

There are few settings on the PS4 that can be changed in terms of network connections. If you are on using a wired connection and have reset the router, then the issue might stem from beyond your home network. You are likely running into an issue along your way to the server.

In this case, I'd recommend contacting your ISP about the issue and making a report with them.
