Season 3 of Ishgardian Restoration?

Are we expecting a third season of the Restoration where they have new grade three mats and crafts? Wondering how long this grade 2 stuff is good for or before it “expires” and becomes worth less. Do I keep trudging along now or wait till my points might go towards something.

You can trudge along to get the achievement minion/mount, that's from either 50k points on each of the gatherers, or 500k points on each of the crafters and gatherers. These are long term goals.
Other than that, it's only good for getting scripts to buy stuff from the script vendor, or for EXP.

Using them to level up is what I’ve been doing so far. How does one check their current point totals?

If you talk to the NPC's across from the NPC where you turn in gathering materials it'll let you see how many points you have for all of your jobs

The "for the second phase" specific title achievements do suggest there will be another phase at some point, though not necessarily in 5.3.

I honestly feel reluctant to gun for the 500K achievements right now when it's possible there might be higher point gains to go with the increase in gear levels in a later phase.

In all likeliness, when season 3 comes out, all of the Grade 2 stuff will go down to 1 point each (like the first seasons crafts) and the new Season 3 stuff will have similar points as the current Grade 2 stuff.

I don't see why they'd make it any easier for season 3.

Even if that's not the case, they'll likely add new achievements for doing phase 3 turn-ins specifically, so it still might better to hold off on doing the full 500K for the time being.

500k is quite a lot to get on all classes though. I'd be surprised if this reset seasonally, so a head start can't hurt.

Grade 1 crafts were all crafted from mats gathered from outside Diadem. That is pretty much the main reason that the Grade 1 crafts were devalued to the point of worthlessness. They wanted people to at least indirectly participate in Diadem without relying on stockpiled materials.

Any Grade 3 mats and crafts are likely going to augment the grade 2s rather than replace them. The Grade 3 mats are likely going to be harder/riskier to gather (likely inside the cave areas or on the lower islands with aggressive monsters forcing auger stockpiling) and the Grade 3 crafts are likely to be all Expert crafts (even the sub-70 ones).

They track two scores for every crafter/gatherer job. A seasonal score which is currently frozen and likely will be reset when the next season starts and an ongoing score which is what the 50k and 500k achievements are based on.

Hmm. Ok, is this not the right score tracker? I’ve been level my crafting jobs off this, and when I turn in collectibles they tell me it’s earned me X number of points. I did some during the scoring season, and I’ve done some since, but this says I have zero points?
