No longer able to move install folder on Steam?

Hi all. New to posting on the forums. Steam has a feature where you can move what install folder the game is in. I want to move FFXIV to my SSD. However, the option doesn't even show up. I get four options. Browse local files, backup game files, uninstall game, and verify integrity of game files. Options two and four and greyed out so you can't select them. All my other games on Steam have a fifth option to move the install folder and FFXIV does not have that. Was this removed by the developers? I'd prefer to not have to install the whole game again.

I ran in to this issue as well. There is a third party app you can use to move the game to the SSD. It is called steammover or something like that.

I tried SteamMover, and it did put the files on my SSD, but Steam still sees it as on my HDD and all SteamMover really did was copy and paste the files over.

That's actually all there is to do to move a game on Steam from one library to another.

Create the library first in Steam (if it doesn't already exist)
    Exit Steam
    Move files on disk
Move the appmanifest_39210.acf file as well (this is the ID file for this game)
    Restart Steam

When you load Steam it scans all libraries for the ACF files, as long as you moved that with the actual files, you're done
