Hello,

I keep getting an error every time I try to login with my main character. This started after I joined an alliance roullette and was loading into the roullette and crashed. Ever since I get this error message after it tries to login my character. Please help fix this! Any help is appreciated.

When exactly did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

If you are having trouble attaching a screenshot, you can try posting a link to a public photo-sharing website.

Hello,
Same issue here, can't login with my character anymore.
The error occurs after selecting the character, in the loading screen.
Last thing I did is talking to the lifter in Ul'dah, after a 3h session without issue.

If it is only happening with this one character, you may want to try deleting the locally-saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.

Hello,
This was my first char.
Tried to make a second one, could not even reach lvl 2 and same error happened.

Tried to reboot computer, reinstall the game but still have the same error.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs.
3) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
4) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
5) Install FINAL FANTASY XIV and Windows onto the same drive (preferably the C:/ drive if possible)
