    Not eligible for transferring

    Hi I wrote to customer service about the problem and got the same canned reply 2 times (from support_na_ig2@square-enix.com), which is kinda frustrating. I hope that I could get some real help here.

    I tried to transfer my character from Exodus to Coeurl, yet the system told me the character is not eligible for that.

    In the canned reply it says:
    "If you find that the world that you wish to transfer to is currently accepting new and transferring characters and you are still unable to transfer successfully, your character may currently be ineligible for a Home World Transfer. Details concerning how to confirm your eligibility for a Home World Transfer can be found at the following web address:
    http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/help/option_service/world_transfer_service/"

    matter of fact I already read the link many times and still have no clue what went wrong, which is why I wrote to customer service, but all I got is canned reply.

    Would you mind looking into what specific reason stop my character from transferring to another server (world)?

    it's not just coeurl. the char is not eligible at all.

    When you say a few days ago, do you literally mean a few days ago?

    You can't transfer a character if it's less than 3 days old.

    Other than that, you can view all the reasons here, so although it's quite a lengthy list, if you carefully run down that list, your reason will be one of those.

    More than 3 days actually, and I read things in that link already countless time already, which is why I wrote to customer service for the details. All I got are canned emails which are the same as below. I had no choice but to write the problem here in hope a customer service staff would help.

    We understand that you are experiencing difficulties when trying to create your character to a certain world. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, as we understand that being able to play on your desired world is important for a positive gaming experience.

    We have found that failed character creation attempts frequently occur when a player attempts to create on a world that is locked and unavailable due to population restrictions.

    Character creation will open or close depending on the world population, so you may need to attempt your character creation at a later time should these restrictions prevent you from creating your character.

    You can review which worlds are currently restricting character creation and transfers by visiting the Regarding Character Creation Restrictions article in the Special Notices section of the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Launcher prior to logging into the game.     Maybe this is just a coincidence, but I see your character level is 35. Are you on the trial? Or have you actually bought the game (and activated the code)?

    Sorry then, but you'll have to go down the list again and double/triple check each item.

    Unfortunately this forum is mostly community based support, and while there are a few "official" representatives, they don't offer any support with account queries.

    I've known people before who couldn't transfer, but it turns out they'd always missed something on the list. Common ones that I've seen before were retainers still having items for sale, application to a free company in progress or owning a wedding invitation.
